French sneaker brand MoEa (Mother Earth) was founded in 2020 by Achille, Benoit and Simon, who set out a mission to revolutionize the sneaker industry. MoEa creates stylish sneakers made from vegan, sustainable, recycled and mostly locally sourced materials. Most of the different vegan leather types are made from bio-waste: residue from the wine industry is transformed into grape leather, leftover apple skins from the juice industry are used for apple leather, and pineapple leaf fibers are turned into pineapple leather. While the soles are made in Spain, most of production takes place in Portugal where MoEa pays regular visits to their production facilities. With recycled rubber for the soles, recycled bamboo for the lining, and organic cotton laces, wearing your MoEa shoes feels like a sustainable party for your feet!
