Zèta

This brand new vegan sneaker brand from Bordeaux is doing great things. Their collection is made from sustainable materials and they have a short, European production chain. Grape and corn waste from Italy is turned into vegan grape and corn leather, which makes up the exterior of the shoes. The lining is made from recycled plastic from the Mediterranean Sea, as are the laces. Recycled cork is used for the insoles and recycled rubber for the outsoles. Production takes place in Portugal, in the workshop of Manuel and his son Tierri, where Zèta founder Laure pays regular visits. When your sneakers are worn out after many walks and adventures, you can simply send them back to Zèta to be recycled!
