At the French backpack and sneaker brand Corail everything starts with bottles: recycled plastic bottles collected from the Mediterranean Sea near Marseille in France. Good friends Alexis and Paul were on vacation in the Marseille region and found themselves shocked with the amount of rubbish they saw in the water. They decided to quit their jobs and start a company together to fight this problem. That’s how Corail was born. The collected sea waste is processed and turned into new materials, which are then transformed into a collection of backpacks and elegant sneakers. Recycled, 100% vegan and very stylish!
