Keep your valuables safe in the closable inner pocket, equipped with a water-resistant zipper. Next to the pocket is a ring to attach your keys.

The tote has both short and long handles. This is convenient because you can carry it comfortably over your shoulder or firmly in your hand – without the bag dragging on the ground.

The bag is incredibly strong and easy to clean. It's made from repurposed Amsterdam market awnings. For years, these canvases protected merchants from the elements. After being transformed into a sustainable shopper, they can last for many more years.

As a little boy, founder Martijn earned his first pocket money on the market. With the Amsterdam market culture still in his heart, years later he came up with the idea of reusing old market tarp. Before UNBEGUN recycled the material, it was thrown away and sent to the incinerator, but now the rock-solid material is given a new life to last for years. Made from washed and scrubbed market stall tarp covers, they repurpose the iconic fabric into bespoke laptop sleeves and bags all from their home studio. Each bag is different to the next and retains its quirks as a physical part of local Amsterdam culture.
