For years, founder Miranda had been working as a sales representative for a large company – but something didn’t feel quite right as she dreamed of starting her own company. A company that would give room to her fashion design skills and makes the world a better place. And so, FAIR e-GOOD ("very good") was born.

More about FAIR e-GOOD

Big sales and big business in sustainable fashion

The woman behind the beautiful FAIR e-Good knew what she wanted and how to do it. Before she started her entrepreneurial adventure, Miranda had been working for a large company for fifteen years where she improved production processes, managed the sales operation and developed complex innovations. She loved doing it, but she couldn't shake off her big dream.

She wanted nothing more than running her own business. The type of company that makes the world a better place, and where people and our planet are just as important as the profit. Learning the art of making clothes from her mother at a young age, it was clear that the company had to be a fashion company. So said, so done!

Through her years of experience, her capacity to dream big, and her passion for sustainable and fair chain fashion, Miranda aims inspiring others to switch to a plant-based lifestyle with FAIR e-GOOD. Eighteen months after starting her business, she joined our online vegan department store. Miranda: "I hope that I can surprise you and can make you shine in stylish sustainable fashion!"

Do good, feel good, look good

In the FAIR e-GOOD collection you will find stylish, affordable, and sustainable fashion. We’ve only selected the vegan part of her collection so you can buy sustainable fashion with confidence. Sustainable and vegan clothing that’s fairly made from organic materials. You won’t only look good: you’ll also feel and do good!

Good fair trade fashion brands with social missions

FAIR e-GOOD likes to work with clothing brands that design beautiful, stylish items and do so in a sustainable way. They are all special brands, each with a beautiful story. Just like Miranda, they want to change the clothing industry and do so in a positive way by showing that it can be done and done well. Sustainability is central to these brands and it’s the basis of their positioning.

Miranda likes curating Dutch clothing brands for her collection, but gladly makes exceptions for beautiful international brands. Most brands also have a sustainability certification such as Fair Trade, or GOTS. The brands are also often affiliated with sustainable organizations such as the Fair Wear Foundation. And they actively contribute or give back to society.

  • For example, there’s jewellery made by women who are economically disadvantaged or from a lower economic standing with the aim of becoming more financially independent.
  • Part of the income from a brand that manufactures bags is donated to a school project in Guatemala where meetings are organized to encourage parents to keep their Mayan children in school. Being able to read and write offers these children the prospect of a better life and a hopeful future.
  • Another clothing brand has deliberately been working with the same family businesses in Bali and Kathmandu (Nepal) for almost 30 years, and has been paying them fairly over the years.
  • The cotton farmers receive 30% more for their crop and they help clothing brands to prevent their production process from polluting the water in the region. They also educate other people in the agricultural industry, training farmers to combat GMO seeds.
  • More jewellery makers receive a fair wage, but the brand also invests in educating these women’s children. The women themselves receive training a number of times a year.
  • And there are clothing brands that are actively committed to improving living conditions in Asian production countries and donating one euro per item of clothing purchased to the children living there in poverty, so they can go to school and build a better life. One mission is even more beautiful than the other.

Certifications: vegan, organic, fair trade and more

Organic, vegan and fairly produced: that is the common thread throughout this beautiful collection. In Miranda's store you will also find meaningful certifications from well-known organizations: GOTS, SA8000, Fair Wear Foundation, BSCI, PETA, Fair Trade, World Fair Trade Organization, Soil Association, Oeko-Tex and the Ethical Fashion Forum. A nice collection.

Sustainable, eco-friendly materials

Bamboo, organic cotton, EcoVero, recycled materials and fabrics such as denim and linen, hemp, organic linen, Modal, Monocel, Tencel/Lyocell, Rayon, Woodsilk and vegan leather: you will be amazed by the FAIR e-GOOD collection. Sustainability is a core value of Miranda: "We believe that we should treat people and our planet differently; that we should be more careful and respect our earth." It goes without saying that the materials that her company works with fit in well with this philosophy.
