QURC is a vegan sneaker brand from Amsterdam, founded in 2019 by Farbod and Thomas. They found the inspiration to start their brand in Portugal, after seeing the wide variety of beautiful cork items there. What they did not see there was a stylish sneaker made from cork. So they decided to design their own. Production takes place in a small workshop in Portugal, where the working conditions are good and Farbod and Thomas pay regular visits. Cork is not only a beautiful material, it is also vegan, sustainable, water-repellent, biodegradable and breathable. The perfect material for shoes!
