iné was born out of a search for sneakers that could be stylish, unisex, animal-free, and more sustainable. When founder Audrey realized that combination didn’t exist, she and her team set out in 2018 to create it themselves. Five years later, in 2024, the first collection launched: sneakers handcrafted in Portugal under fair working conditions, with all materials sourced within Europe: from Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

The highlight of the brand is BioVeg®: an innovative material made from recycled bottles and non-GMO corn waste.

Audrey’s background is at the heart of the brand: growing up in Brittany, where she witnessed the impact of pollution on the coastline, and raised by a mother who worked for over 25 years in a garment workshop, she developed both a love for craftsmanship and a deep environmental awareness.
