Fairma Ethical Design founder Magdalena dreamed of beautiful shoes that were made without any form of animal or human exploitation. Stores like that already existed elsewhere in Europe, she knew, so she decided it was high time that such a store was opened in Poland. In 2016 the time had come. Fairma cares about animals, the environment and the people involved in the production of their shoes. By cooperating with a few small factories in homeland Poland, the working conditions throughout their production chain can be closely monitored. Fairma currently uses high quality Spanish microfibers for their shoes and aims to optimize their materials by introducing more environmentally friendly options such as cork, pinatex and washpapa in the coming seasons.
