LangerChen proves that fashion ‘made in China’ doesn’t have to mean mass production or poor working conditions. Since 2013, the label has been creating timeless and functional eco-outerwear, produced in its own GOTS-certified factory near Shanghai. Here, a team of almost 100 people works under fair conditions, with a five-day workweek and wages far above the legal minimum.

Founded by Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer, LangerChen has embraced sustainability from the very beginning. From organic cotton and Tencel® to recycled nylon, the brand develops its own fabrics and always opts for the most environmentally friendly options. Even in the smallest details, waste is minimized, from CO2-neutral shipping to minimalist packaging.
