A top can't be better than this one! Our Sandhya shirt is super easy to put on thanks to the elasticated waistband and wide neckline. It falls loosely, yet emphasizes the waist. Just a piece of clothing to feel good with! The cotton fabric is great for enjoying the last summer temperatures. However, you can also wear it on colder days as a sweater with long pants and a shirt underneath.
The patterned blue and white ikat fabric is hand woven in the small Indian village of Pochampally in Telangana. Ikat fabrics are traditionally produced there and their advanced weaving technique requires precisely calculated yarn dyeing in places, knowledge passed down through generations, and a lot of skill and concentration. The beautifully soft, patterned fabrics are supplied to us by the Indian fashion label TRANSLATE, which is dedicated to reviving Ikat handicrafts. Sandhya is sewn in our sewing workshop in Chittapur.
