Our Prakash blouse seduces with relaxed elegance. The casual pattern takes the seriousness of the cut a little and fits perfectly into any everyday situation without looking boring.
The blue and white patterned ikat fabric is hand-woven in the small Indian village of Pochampally in Telangana. Ikat fabrics are traditionally produced there, and their sophisticated weaving technique requires precisely calculated yarn dyeing in places, knowledge that has been passed on over generations, and a lot of skill and concentration. The beautifully soft, patterned fabrics are provided to us by the Indian fashion label TRANSLATE, which is dedicated to reviving the Ikat handicraft. Prakash is sewn in our sewing workshop in Chittapur.
