Now this is what we call an impressive brand. Fraenck is mindful about every little detail in their supply chain. Their products are vegan and produced with upcycled materials, such as sailcloth. The collections are made from residual waste from a sailmaker and upcycled artificial leather – materials that would normally end up in the waste bin, but this way get a second life. Operating locally, the brand also cares about making a social impact. Founders Ratna and Pascal believe that fashion and animal suffering shouldn’t go together. That’s why they make their bags exclusively from “genuine imitation leather". The two also believe in an inclusive world where everyone can and may participate in. To contribute, they facilitate ambitious individuals and people with a distance to the labor market work by offering them work-study trajectories in their studio. How great is that?
